“MCC Theater has enriched the cultural life of New York City for more than 30 years and now we look forward to our permanent home at The Robert W. Wilson MCC Theater Space on 52nd Street and 10th Avenue. We are grateful to Mayor de Blasio, former Mayor Bloomberg, and the City Council for committing over $28 million towards this exciting project. Their extraordinary partnership, the enthusiasm of our supporters and the vision of the Robert W. Wilson Charitable Trust will make this New York’s next great cultural destination.”

– Susan Raanan, Board Chair

A welcoming lobby and comfortable audience amenities
for lively pre-and post-show discussions and events.

Our mission is to provoke conversations that have never happened
and otherwise never would. With two theaters, MCC can provide
more opportunities to showcase new, important work.

The 245-seat Newman Mills Theater (pictured above and below) retains MCC’s intimate experience while the 100-seat Susan & Ronald Frankel Theater provides more opportunities for our artists, playwrights and students.

When creative people are in the same space,
big things can happen.

MCC’s new complex will provide two state-of-the-art rehearsal studios
as well as artistic and administrative offices all under one roof.
